This black cotton top by RANT Clothing is 100% Australian made
The Monarch top is a perfect warm weather top, a loose style that floats over your body in a simple A line shape with side splits at the hem. The front is constructed from three panels, all slightly different shapes and the back has a centre back seam to add slight shaping at the back waist. The neckline and armholes are bound in a cotton bias binding and the splits and hem are a narrow roll hem finish.
This version is made from a beautiful Egyptian cotton. The long staple 2 ply yarn was then woven into fabric in Japan. It is mercerized to reduce the weight and give it a silky smooth finish. It's hard to believe it's actually cotton.
To create a 'jumpsuit' look you can match this top with the Whisper Culottes in the matching fabric.
This style is prewashed in rainwater at our home studio.
